1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Eternis website (the "Site") or any services offered by Eternis ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site or our services. These terms apply to all visitors, waitlist registrants, and future customers.

2. Description of Services

Eternis is a human preservation platform currently in pre-launch phase. Our intended services include, but are not limited to:

• DNA and biological sample collection and cryogenic preservation
• The Vault — a private member portal for sample tracking, epigenetic profiling, and legacy management
• Digital Epigenome — optional digital presence preservation
• Imprint — an AI-based personality model built from user-provided data
• Lineage and family preservation plans

Services are not yet active. Joining our waitlist does not constitute a purchase, subscription, or service agreement. Full terms governing active services will be published prior to launch.

3. Waitlist Registration

By submitting your email address, you are registering interest in Eternis services. This does not create a binding contract, guarantee service availability, or lock in any specific pricing. We reserve the right to modify, delay, or cancel the launch of any service without liability to waitlist registrants. You may remove yourself from the waitlist at any time by unsubscribing from our communications.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including but not limited to text, design, graphics, logos, the Eternis name, the "soon enough, forever" slogan, the Vault concept, the Imprint concept, and the Digital Epigenome concept — is the intellectual property of Eternis and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of any content is strictly prohibited.

5. Future Biological Services — Important Notices

When biological sample collection and preservation services become active, additional terms will govern those services. You should be aware of the following now:

• DNA and biological sample preservation is a long-term commitment. Storage continuity is subject to subscription maintenance.
• The future applications of preserved genetic material — including regenerative therapies, genetic identity reconstruction, or AI-based modeling — are speculative and not guaranteed by Eternis.
• Eternis does not represent or warrant that future scientific advancements will enable any specific use of preserved samples.
• Biological samples are stored with certified third-party biobank partners. Sample integrity is subject to partner facility standards and force majeure events.

6. Imprint & Digital Epigenome — Important Notices

The Imprint feature, when available, creates an AI model based on user-provided digital content and guided inputs. This model is intended solely as a personal legacy tool. It is not a simulation of consciousness, a legal representation of any person, or a substitute for professional grief counseling or mental health support. Eternis makes no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or emotional fidelity of any AI model generated through the Imprint feature. All digital content connected through the Digital Epigenome feature remains the property of the user and is governed by our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ETERNIS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Site will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Any information on the Site is accurate, complete, or current
• The Site is free of viruses or other harmful components

Scientific statements on this Site regarding future applications of DNA preservation reflect current research trends and do not constitute medical advice, scientific guarantees, or promises of future outcomes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eternis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or emotional distress. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Eternis in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify waitlist members of any material changes via email.
